Yorkshire Cricket Education Day

We were delighted to take a group of children from Year 5&6 to the Yorkshire County Cricket club annual education Day at Headingley stadium at the start of the week.

The children participated in a number of workshops including designing a shirt for the Yorkshire limited overs first teams for next season and learning about the different roles within the RAF. They also worked with staff from interior design company Design Tonic to design a new office space. The highlight for many (including Mr Griffiths!) was also the chance to play on the actual Headingley pitch. As always, the children represented themselves and St Peter’s school superbly on what was a very warm day. Very well done to all who took part.
