Great excitement filled the air this morning as Year 6 headed off for their residential at East Barnby Outdoor education centre. After a trouble free journey the group arrived safely at just after 11.30 this morning.

After finding our dorms and their first lunch children got straight into their activity schedule. East Barnby is just a few minutes away from the beautiful sheltered beach at Sandsend which is perfect for a spot of bodyboarding to kick off the week.
After a wonderful afternoon on the beach children returned to set up their dorms including a spot of bed making (with mixed reults!) and their first evening meal and evening activity. They very much enjoyed their evening camp fire.
