In Eagles and Ravens, children have been writing poetry based on a wonderful book called ‘The Lost Spells’. The Lost Spells is a pocket-sized treasure that introduces a beautiful set of natural spell-poems and artwork by beloved creative duo Robert Macfarlane & Jackie Morris. The children wrote their own acrostic poem, about an animal or plant of their choice, using the book as inspiration. Below we have a selection of poems written by the children in Eagles and Ravens. We have entered all the poems into the Wonderverse national poetry competition. Fingers crossed!
