As we welcome in the start of the summer term we are pleased to be returning to sporting competition with the Sporting Influence competition series. This week and next it is the turn of children from Year 3&4 to represent St Peter’s in rounders at Bilton Cricket Club.
Week one began with a quick recap of the rules and key tactics then it was straight into the competition playing three matches against teams from Oatlands Juniors, Hookstone Chase and New Park.
As always the St Peter’s children represented themselves superbly well showing great teamwork alongside fantastic encouragements of each other and lovely sporting manners at the end of every game.
They also excelled in their sporting skills winning all three of their games and finishing top of the table. Very well done to all who took part and thank you to all the family members who helped get the children to Bilton at the end of the school day.
