Our Year 5&6 rounders team continued their wining run in the second week of the Sporting Influence competition series this night.
In the glorious sunshine at Bilton Cricket Club the team played a further three matches against North Rigton, Bilton Grange and New Park winning all three and scoring a total of 24 rounders across three matches. Their fielding was also sharp and precise helping to limit the scoring chances of their opponents.
As always they showed super team spirit and kind and thoughtful sporting attitudes towards the other teams during and at the end of each match sharing hand shakes and ‘high fives’ with each other as well as the opposing team. Very well done to all who represented St Peter’s so well.
After half term there are two mini athletics competitions for Year 1&2 as well as cricket matches for Yr3&4 and Yr5&6. Watch this space for more sporting news updates.
