The children in KS1 had some incredibly special visitors on Tuesday who told them all about what childhood was like for children in the past. They learnt that teachers wrote on blackboards with chalk and that if your shoes got too small you had to cut the ends off and have your toes sticking out!
They looked at pictures and poetry books and shared their shine through the respect that they showed and the incredibly thoughtful questions that they asked. Thank you to everyone who gave up their time to help bring history to life.
