Our Vision in Action
As we begin a new school year we have been thinking about the Love element of our vision in particular everyone feeling they belong.
Love
Love and a strong sense of belonging, are the foundation of our school community’s life. We want everyone to know and feel they are nurtured, precious, unique and loved by God.
As a whole school we have all read, studied and reflected on the book People Need People’ by Benjamin Zephaniah. In our reflections the children have thought about the power of people and the importance of connecting with others and managing our emotions and feelings.
Children have created a range of written work and art work recognising how we are all different but all belong to our class and school families and how by loving and learning together we can all shine. We are proud to display much of this lovely work around school and share some examples with everyone below.
