Our first group of year 5&6 children took part in week one of the four week year 5&6 football competition series tonight. Under the lights of the all weather pitch at Harrogate High and with coaches from Sporting Influence they played four matches in all.
After a fun warm up with children from all the schools competing and with a focus on working on commutation skills our team played four matches against teams from New Park, Hookstone Chase, Bilton Grange and Willow Tree. They represented St Peter’s well working as a team to support and encourage each other and played some super football. They won three of their matches 1-0 and had a hard a hard fought 0-0 draw also.
