Further to our initial communication earlier, due to the poor weather conditions, we have taken the difficult decision to close the school today Friday 10 March 2023. This decision has been made alongside the other local schools in the Trust for the safety of children, families and staff.
In line with other schools in our Trust who are also closed today, teachers will email with information regarding optional work this morning. However, there is no expectation for this work to be returned to your child’s class teacher next week and we appreciate that many children may wish to spend the day in the snow with their families and friends. We look forward to hearing about their adventures next week,
The safety of our children and staff is always our first priority and although we are sorry for the inconvenience of the school being closed today, we hope you will understand why the decision was made.
