The whole school very much enjoyed their Easter worship in church this morning. Following on from this half terms worship focus on Justice the children lead a lovely act of worship hosted at St Peter’s Church retelling the Easter story and considering elements of the story from the perspective of how Jesus was treated. As well as poems and readings the children sang three lovely hymns and the choir also performed.
It was fantastic to see church so full with children, staff and families sharing in our worship. Thank you to everyone who attended as well as all those who helped walked us to and from church safely. Father God
Your Son Jesus Christ suffered and died for us.
In his resurrection he restores life and peace in all creation.
In a world of sadness and tears you show us your joy.
In a world of hatred, you show us your love.
In a world of despair, you give us hope.
In a world of disbelief, you give us faith
Give us power in your world to make a difference.
