Young Leaders

A key element of our vision of LOVE EARN SHINE is that;

We support children to grow and develop socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually, helping them to shine and share their light enabling themselves and others to flourish.

We are delighted that so many of our children wish to play and active role in school life though different leadership roles.

We are pleased to share a selection of the leadership roles in school that are children take.

Librarians

Our Librarians are so organised and passionate about encouraging reading and respect for our beautiful library. They are always available to help and are dedicated to maintaining a wonderful reading environment.

Play Squad

Our dedicated team organises playground equipment for our children to enjoy and engage with over lunchtime. They support the younger members of the school and ensure the Play Squad cupboard is always tidy and ready for the next session.

Science Ambassadors

This dedicated bunch share a passion for Science and have extremely enquiring minds. At the moment we are taking part in a Science reading challenge that the children are thoroughly enjoying. We have just received some playground equipment sets so they will be sharing their shine and wealth of knowledge with the younger children.

Worship Leaders

Our worship leaders help to plan and deliver acts of worship both in their classes, in school and at St Peter’s Church. They also help give feedback to school staff on our worship cycle and the impact it has on them and other children. They help us to improve our worship cycle making t the best it can be.

Digital Leaders

Our Digital Leaders are passionate for technology and want to share their knowledge with others and promote the use of all things digital throughout the school. Being a Digital Leader is a fantastic opportunity to take on responsibility, learn new skills, develop and demonstrate leadership skills.
