πŸŽ₯ Year 4 Become Roman News Reporters!

Year 4 had a fantastic time using their class tablets to become Roman News Reporters in History. Working collaboratively, the children created their own video news reports, sharing the changes that took place in Britain following the Roman invasion.
The children demonstrated excellent historical knowledge whilst developing their speaking, listening and digital skills. They thoroughly enjoyed stepping into the role of reporters and showed great creativity, confidence and teamwork in front of the camera. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm for learning brought to life through technology.

One child said, “I loved pretending to be a news reporter and telling people about what the Romans changed in Britain. It made learning history really fun!”

Mrs Varley said, “The children were incredibly engaged throughout this project. They used their historical understanding brilliantly and showed great confidence when presenting their reports. It was wonderful to see them learning so enthusiastically.’
This exciting activity reflects our school vision to Love, Learn, Shine. The children showed a love of learning through their enthusiasm, deepened their knowledge of history through creative exploration, and truly shone as confident communicators and collaborative learners. 🌟
