🌈 Proud to Be Us!

🦚 Showing Our True Colours 🌈

This week, Kingfishers spent time thinking about what it means to be proud. Through a range of creative activities, the children reflected on the many reasons they are proud of themselves and proud to be part of our wonderful school community.
Together, we created a beautiful class rainbow, filled with all the things that make us proud to be at St Peter’s. From friendships and learning opportunities to kindness and teamwork, the rainbow showcased the many ways our school helps children to flourish.
The children also designed their own proud clouds, sharing the talents, achievements and unique qualities that make them special. It was lovely to see the children celebrating their strengths and recognising all the wonderful things that make each of them unique.
To continue our learning, we created colourful proud peacocks after exploring a story linked to pride and self-worth. The children thought carefully about their individual gifts and talents, and how these can help them make a positive difference to others.
These activities encouraged everyone to recognise their value, celebrate achievements and appreciate the special qualities of those around them. It was a joyful reminder of our school vision to Love, Learn, Shine. By learning to be proud of who they are and celebrating one another, the children continue to shine brightly as part of the St Peter’s family.
🌈🦚☁️ We are very proud of our Kingfishers and the confidence, kindness and self-belief they showed throughout these activities.
