🌈 Celebrating Year 6: A Week of Memories, Reflection and Joy

🎉 Final Days at St Peter’s: Love, Laughter and Lasting Friendships ✨

This week at St Peter’s has been truly special as our Year 6 children come to the end of their primary school journey. It has been a time filled with joy, reflection and celebration — bringing together everything that makes our school community so special.
On Wednesday, children were given the opportunity to pause and reflect during a peaceful prayer space held at St Paul’s Church. This calm and thoughtful time allowed them to look back on their years at St Peter’s, remember cherished moments, and find a sense of tranquillity before moving on to their next chapter. It was a beautiful reminder of our vision to Love, Learn, Shine, as children reflected on how they have grown in faith, friendship and confidence.

The celebrations continued with a special outdoor picnic lunch, made even more exciting by a visit from an ice cream van. Our grateful thanks go to FOSP for funding this treat — it brought smiles to every face and created memories the children will treasure.
In the evening, the Year 6 disco was a huge success, with a special VIP area that added an extra touch of excitement. It was wonderful to see the children enjoying time together, celebrating their friendships and all they have achieved.
We now look forward to coming together for our final worship in St Peter’s Church, where we will gather as a school family to mark this important moment. It will be a chance to celebrate the journey of our Year 6 children and to wish them every blessing as they prepare to move on to new schools and new opportunities.
As they leave us, our Year 6 children do so having truly lived out our vision. They have shown love in their friendships, dedication in their learning, and confidence as they shine brightly in all they do. We are incredibly proud of each and every child and know that they will continue to flourish in their new chapters.
