πŸ€Ύβ€β™€οΈ Teamwork Takes the Win at Rossett Dodgeball Festival!

A group of our Year 5/6 children recently represented St Peter’s at an exciting dodgeball competition held at Rossett High School – and what a fantastic afternoon it was!
Mrs Oldfield took the children to compete against three other schools, and to make a full team we proudly joined forces with All Saints School. From the very first game, the children showed excellent teamwork, communication and encouragement for one another, working together brilliantly both on and off the court.
The children played with determination, resilience and smiles throughout the competition, and we are delighted to share that the team finished 2nd overall – an amazing achievement!
One particularly special moment came when one of our teamΒ was awarded a certificate for Amazing Social Skills, recognising the kindness, encouragement and positivity he showed to teammates and opponents alike.

πŸ’¬ β€œI liked how everyone helped each other and never gave up, even when the games were hard,” said one child.
πŸ’¬ Mrs Oldfield added, β€œI was incredibly proud of how the children supported one another and represented our school. Their teamwork and attitude were outstanding from start to finish.”

This event was a wonderful example of our school vision Love, Learn, Shine in action:
  • πŸ’™ Love – showing kindness, respect and encouragement to others
  • πŸ“˜ Learn – developing teamwork, strategy and resilience
  • ✨ Shine – representing St Peter’s with pride and positivity
Well done to all the children who took part – you truly did us proud!
