🌈 Love, Learn, Shine from the Start– Our EYFS Statement of Intent
We are delighted to launch our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statement of Intent, which shares what Early Years looks like at St Peter’s and how we give every child the very best start to school.
Rooted in our school vision of Love, Learn, Shine, the statement explains how our youngest children are nurtured, inspired and encouraged to flourish through play, exploration, strong relationships and joyful learning. It brings our vision to life by showing how children are supported to feel safe, valued and deeply known, while developing confidence, curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.
For parents, the EYFS Statement of Intent is a helpful guide to what your child will experience in Wrens Class — from learning through play and outdoor exploration, to early reading, maths, friendships and independence. It explains how we support every child as an individual and how we work closely with families so children can truly shine as only they can.
