🎨 Parents Shine Bright at Our Candle Painting Social– A Creative Evening for Our School Community

It was wonderful to see St Peter’s buzzing with creativity and conversation tonight as parents came together for a candle painting social and fundraising event. The evening was well supported and provided a relaxed and welcoming opportunity for parents to spend time together, learn a new skill and enjoy being part of our wider school community.
Parents embraced the chance to slow down, be creative and make something special to take home, while chatting and connecting with other families in a calm and friendly atmosphere. Events like this play such an important role in strengthening relationships across our school and helping everyone feel part of the St Peter’s family.
A huge thank you goes to the FOSP team for organising and supporting the event, ensuring everything ran smoothly and that everyone felt welcome.
We would also like to say a very special thank you to Antonia, who planned, resourced and led the session. Antonia generously shared her passion and skill for candle painting, guiding everyone step by step and encouraging creativity throughout the evening. Through her work with Love Learn Shine, Antonia reminded us that this vision is for everyone – not just children. It was inspiring to see adults given the space and confidence to explore their own creativity and to truly shine.
At St Peter’s, our vision of Love, Learn and Shine underpins everything we do. Nights like this show how powerful that vision can be when our whole community comes together modelling creativity, connection and lifelong learning for our children.
Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the event. We look forward to many more opportunities to come together, celebrate our community and shine together.
