This term, Starlings and Herons’ Design Technology unit has been all about seasonal cooking! The children have explored a variety of winter vegetables – tasting and evaluating each one. Some were met with enthusiastic thumbs up, while others… not so much!
After learning about seasonal produce, the children designed their own winter tart, carefully selecting ingredients from a choice of options.
Next week, we’ll be bringing those designs to life in the kitchen!
