🌍 Striding Towards a Greener Future – Walking Bus Marks Second Walk to School Day of 2025-2026🚶‍♀️

Walking Bus Brings Community Spirit to Park Walk to School Day

Our second Walking Bus from West Park Stray was a fantastic success this morning. It was wonderful to see so many families joining us at the start point or hopping on along the way. From two legs to wheels and even four-legged friends like Bear the dog everyone played their part in making the journey fun and memorable.
Walking to school isn’t just about getting from A to B. It brings huge benefits for both physical and mental health, and it’s a brilliant way to care for our planet. Every step helps reduce traffic, cut emissions, and create safer streets for our children.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us and supported this initiative. Your enthusiasm shows what our school vision of Love, Learn, Shine looks like in action – caring for each other and the world around us.
Looking Ahead:
Don’t miss the next Walking Bus dates – they’re coming soon!

Mrs Williams, Climate Education Lead said:
“Walking to school is one of the simplest ways we can make a positive impact on the environment. It’s about building habits that help our children love the planet as much as they love learning.”
