⚽ Team Spirit Shines at Sporting Influence Tournament!⚽

What an incredible evening of sport and teamwork!
On Wednesday night, Mrs Oldfield took seven of our Year 5/6 boys to the Sporting Influence Competition Series at Harrogate High. The tournament brought together six schools for an exciting evening of football, and our children rose to the challenge brilliantly.
Across five matches, the boys showed determination and skill, winning one game, drawing two, and narrowly losing two (both 1-0). More importantly, they played with fantastic communication, respect, and encouragement qualities that truly reflect our school vision of Love, Learn, Shine.
Mrs Oldfield shared how proud she was of the team:
“The boys played brilliantly as a team with great communication and respect for each other and all the other teams they played. I was so proud of them all.”
A special mention goes to Zach, who received a certificate for respect and encouragement – a wonderful recognition of his positive attitude throughout the tournament. Well done to all the children involved you represented St Peter’s beautifully!
