🕊️ Owls Class Dive into the Meaning of Baptism
This week in RE, Owls class have been exploring the story of Jesus’ Baptism and the deeper meaning behind this important Christian tradition. The children were captivated by the symbolism of water—not just as something we see and use every day, but as a powerful spiritual element.
Through hands-on activities and thoughtful discussion, the class examined the different states of water—from calm and flowing to dangerous and choppy—and how these can reflect the journey of faith. They learnt how Christians believe water in baptism symbolises cleansing and renewal, washing away sins and marking a fresh start.
The children were full of curiosity and wonder as they connected these ideas to their own experiences. It was a joyful and meaningful time of learning, perfectly reflecting our school vision to Love, Learn, Shine.
