Mrs Williams, last year’s Climate Crew and some helpers were very busy on Thursday planting on the playground! In the shelter planters, we planted strawberries and heater. We also planted some mint and more heather around the playground. All the plants were funded by the money raised by the Climate Crew stall at the summer fair. The strawberries and herbs will be used in our school meal cooking. We also have lavender, more herbs, flowers, red raspberries and golden raspberries on order (which have kindly been funded by FOSP) and look forward to planting those soon.
Climate Crew applications are open!!!
On Friday 12 September children will be given a Climate Crew applications form. If they would like to be a member of the St Peter’s Climate Crew, please ensure your child completes their application form and returns this to their class teacher by 12pm on Friday 19th September 2025. Applications received after this deadline will not be considered unfortunately. The Climate Crew help design and implement our Climate Action Plan, attend eco trips/activities and will also form our brand-new St Peter’s Gardening Club which is new for 2025.
