Children have enjoyed a double sporting competition week this week.
On Tuesday after school, we took a team of 5/6 girls to a 7 a side football competition at Rossett High School. There were three schools in the tournament, and we played really well as a team, overall, scoring nine goals. Violet and Maddie each received a certificate for amazing social skills whilst playing.
On Wednesday we took a team of 10 year 1&2 children to Harrogate High to play in a dodgeball competition, we played against 6 other schools, the children played really well together, Isabel received a certificated for her amazing social skills, sharing the ball and always encouraging and supporting her teammates.
Well done to all who represented St Peter’s so well and thank you to Mrs Oldfield for accompanying them.
