Author Visit Year 5&6
Through our ongoing partnership with Imagined Things Bookshop in Harrogate we were delighted to welcome well known author Vashti Hardy to St Peter’s in June to spend time with all the children in year 5&6 talking about her work and conducting a writing workshop with them. She provided the children with valuable insight into the life and work of a published author including all the challenges and some great tips on overcoming them.
She really inspired the children with her story and answered several of the thoughtful questions the children had prepared in their homework. She also stayed back after school to sign copies of her most recent book. We have several signed copies still available for purchase directly from us.
