🏏 Rounders Success at Bilton – Children Shine Through Team Spirit!

Children from Year 5 and 6 recently enjoyed a fantastic morning of sport and teamwork as they attended an inter-school rounders competition at Bilton Cricket Club, organised by Sporting Influence. It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to test their skills against other local schools while developing confidence, resilience and respect.
Throughout the competition, the children demonstrated excellent teamwork and sportsmanship, embracing both the challenge and excitement of competitive sport. Playing against three other schools, they performed brilliantly and were proud to win two of their matches – a fantastic achievement!
Even more importantly, this event gave the children a valuable opportunity to grow in confidence as they continue on their journey towards secondary school. Meeting new people, learning to compete in a positive way, and supporting one another are all key skills that reflect our school vision to Love, Learn, Shine.
A special mention goes to Layla-Rose, who received a certificate for her determination and teamwork. She truly embodied the spirit of the day, showing perseverance and encouragement to others throughout the competition.
We are incredibly proud of all the children for the way they represented our school. They showed kindness, respect and enthusiasm in every match – truly living out our values both on and off the field.
