A huge well done to our Key Stage Two children who took part in the local Harrogate Swimming Gala, competing against 9 schools and finishing a fantastic 3rd overall 🥉 — a brilliant achievement!
The children competed individually and in relay teams, showing determination, teamwork and resilience throughout the event. Accompanied by Mrs Jones and Mrs Scales, they supported one another brilliantly, cheering each other on and showing great sportsmanship and respect to all the other teams.
💬 “Everyone kept cheering and it made me feel really confident when I was swimming,” said one child.
💬 Mrs Jones, Assistant Headteacher, said: “I was so proud of the children today. Their teamwork, encouragement and positive attitude were wonderful to see they truly supported one another every step of the way.”
