⭐🀝 Respect, Positivity and Teamwork on Show in Sport

It has been a busy and exciting sporting week for our children at St Peter’s, with teams competing in two different events and proudly representing our school vision.

🏐 Dodgeball at Rossett High School – Tuesday

On Tuesday, five Year 1 and Year 2 children took part in a dodgeball competition at Rossett High School. The children competed against seven other schools and showed fantastic determination, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the afternoon.
We are incredibly proud to share that the team finished in third place, a wonderful achievement. A special congratulations goes to Juliet from Kingfishers, who received a certificate for showing respect and honesty during the competition β€” a brilliant example of our school values in action.

⚾ Rounders at Bilton Cricket Club – Wednesday

On Wednesday, eight Year 3 and Year 4 children travelled to Bilton Cricket Club to take part in a rounders competition against three other schools. Despite challenging weather conditions, the children played with enthusiasm and resilience, encouraging one another and working together brilliantly as a team.
Tom Moseley from Owls class was awarded a certificate for showing great encouragement and positivity towards his teammates, demonstrating how important kindness and support are both on and off the field.

πŸ’› Thank You

A big thank you to Mrs Oldfield for accompanying the children and supporting them throughout the event. We are also very grateful to the parents and carers who helped with transport and cheered the children onΒ  your support makes such a difference.
These events perfectly reflect our school vision to Love, Learn and Shine loving and supporting one another, learning through new experiences, and shining through positive attitudes and teamwork. Well done to all the children involved!
