Beads with a Purpose: Year 6 Children Get Ready To Shine for Charity and They Need YOUR Help 💖
We are delighted to share an exciting enterprise project launching next half term with our Year 6 children at St Peter’s CE Primary School.
As part of their learning, the children will be designing, making and selling handmade bracelets and crafts to raise vital funds for Artizan, a charity that supports adults with learning disabilities to live fulfilled and creative lives.
This project beautifully reflects our school vision to Love, Learn and Shine:
❤️ Love – showing compassion and generosity by supporting a meaningful cause
📚 Learn – developing creativity, teamwork, budgeting and enterprise skills
🌟 Shine – taking pride in their work and making a real difference in the community
How families can help
To help the children maximise the amount they can donate, we are asking for spare craft materials. The less we spend on supplies, the more profit goes directly to charity.
We are looking for:
Bracelet-making kits (new or used)
Loose beads and charms
Embroidery threads and elastic cord
How to donate
Please drop any spare items into the school office or pass them to your child’s class teacher by Friday 5th June 2026.
