Our fantastic Climate Crew are celebrating a wonderful achievement after proudly cashing in their £50 national garden gift card, awarded for completing Level 2 of the RHS School Gardening Awards! 🌿
Every single item pictured was carefully chosen and purchased by the children themselves, using their well-earned reward. They are already excited to get back to the soil in September and begin using their brand-new gardening equipment to continue developing our outdoor spaces.
This success reflects the enthusiasm, teamwork and dedication shown by the children, who continue to take pride in nurturing our school environment. It is a joy to see their commitment to caring for the world around them while learning such valuable life skills.
A heartfelt thank you goes to Mrs Williams, who has truly inspired our school community through her passion for gardening. She has played a key role in getting us up and running in this area, and we are so grateful for all her efforts. Mrs Williams sends her warmest wishes and hopes that the children will continue to care for the plants, enjoying the beauty of their hard work for many years to come. 🌼
We are also excited to share that Miss Corrigan, who will be getting married over the summer and becoming Mrs Paterfield, is looking forward to taking on the role of Climate Education Lead next year. She will continue to guide our eco work, including leading the Eco Council and helping our children make a positive difference to the world around them.
