🌟 Parent Consultations – Summer Term 2026 🌟

Apr

🗣️ Working Together to Help Every Child Shine

At St Peter’s CE Primary School, we believe that children thrive best when school and home work closely together. Our upcoming Parent Consultation Meetings are a valued opportunity to celebrate your child’s learning journey so far, talk through progress and wellbeing, and agree next steps as we continue to help every child love learning and shine.

đź“… Consultation dates and times

Parent consultations will take place on:
  • Tuesday 21 April 2026 – 3.45pm to 7.50pm
  • Thursday 23 April 2026 – 3.45pm to 7.50pm
An equal number of appointments are available on both evenings, and whichever date you attend, teachers will be fully prepared to talk with you about your child’s learning and next steps.

🖥️ How to book

Appointments are booked through Arbor, using either the Parent Portal or the Arbor Parent App. Appointments are allocated on a first‑come, first‑served basis and can be booked online until midday on Tuesday 21 April.
If you need support with booking, our school office team will be happy to help: 📧 admin@stpeters.ycst.co.uk

⏱️ Appointment timings – what to expect

Appointments appear as 12 minutes on Arbor. This includes a short 2‑minute transition time, ensuring calm movement between meetings. You will still have 10 minutes of focused discussion with your child’s teacher, which is usually just right for sharing key information and agreeing next steps.
To be fair and respectful to all families, meetings will be kept to time. If a conversation would benefit from more discussion, staff will always arrange a suitable follow‑up.

🏫 On the evening

Clear signage will be in place to guide families to waiting areas and classrooms. If your child needs to attend with you, free supervision for school‑aged children will be available in the Lower Hall, allowing parents and carers to focus fully on their conversation with the teacher.

đź’¬ What will we talk about?

Parent consultations are positive, forward‑looking conversations focusing on:
  • How your child is settling and feeling
  • Progress in learning
  • Attitudes to learning and wellbeing
  • Next steps and how school and home can work together
Any questions about your child’s report are very welcome as part of the discussion.

💛 Our shared vision: Love • Learn • Shine

These meetings reflect everything we value at St Peter’s:
  • Love – strong relationships, care and support for every child
  • Learn – celebrating progress and planning next steps together
  • Shine – helping every child grow in confidence and flourish
Thank you, as always, for your continued partnership and support. We look forward to welcoming you into school and working together to help every child shine this summer term.
