The assembly provided a wonderful opportunity to continue highlighting important messages about climate education, care for creation, and the power of learning — themes that sit at the very heart of our school vision of Love, Learn, Shine.

During the assembly, children learned about Sir David Attenborough’s extraordinary life and achievements. Over many decades, he has helped millions of people across the world understand and appreciate the natural world through his ground‑breaking documentaries.

Children were fascinated to learn how Sir David’s documentaries have helped bring attention to many important environmental issues, including climate change, wildlife conservation and caring for God’s creation.
The assembly encouraged children to reflect on how learning can be a powerful tool for good — helping us to grow in understanding, make wise choices and show love for the world around us. It was wonderful to see children so engaged, curious and thoughtful as they explored these ideas together.
