🎭 From Hard Work to Spotlight: Year 6 Shine on Stage🎭

Our Year 6 children truly embodied our vision to Love, Learn, Shine in their spectacular end-of-year production of Ali Baba and the Bongo Bandits! Over four magical performances across two days, they entertained audiences with confidence, energy and a real sense of joy.

From the very first lines to the final curtain call, it was clear just how much hard work, dedication and teamwork had gone into bringing this vibrant show to life. The children committed themselves fully—learning lines, mastering songs, organising props and supporting one another every step of the way. Their perseverance paid off in performances full of humour, sparkle and infectious enthusiasm.
Set in the bustling city of Old Baghdad, the production whisked us away on a thrilling adventure with Ali Baba, his lively camel Humphrey and a cast of colourful characters. With mischievous monkeys, bumbling bandits and a daring quest to rescue the princess, the show was packed with laughter and excitement. The children brought the witty script and catchy songs to life brilliantly, creating a treasure trove of memorable moments for families and staff alike.
What stood out most was the incredible sense of team spirit. Every child played an important role—whether on stage, backstage, or helping with technical elements—and together they created something truly special. It was a wonderful reminder that when children work together, they can achieve amazing things.
We are incredibly proud of this fantastic group of children as they reach the end of their primary journey. These performances were not only a celebration of their talents but also a testament to their growth, resilience and character during their time at St Peter’s.
A huge thank you goes to Mrs Henderson for her inspiring leadership, creativity and commitment in guiding the children to such a high standard. Her dedication ensured that every child had the opportunity to shine.
💬 What the children said:
