Supporting One Another in Today’s Worship 🤝
Today’s whole-school worship focused on the importance of supporting one another, inspired by the powerful Bible message: “Encourage one another and build each other up.” Our children explored what true friendship looks like and how we can live this out every day in school and beyond.
At the heart of the worship was the story of the five friends, beautifully acted out by children from across Key Stage Two. The children brought the story to life with confidence, expression and teamwork, helping everyone watching to really understand what it means to stick by our friends, especially when times are difficult.
The five friends showed us that friendship is about being there, forgiving one another, showing kindness, and never giving up on the people we care about. Their actions reminded us that good friends encourage each other and help one another to grow stronger together.
Celebrating Our Children 🌈
We would like to say a huge thank you to the volunteers, all of whom were thoughtfully chosen by staff because they consistently demonstrate the qualities of friendship in their daily lives. These children truly exemplify what it means to be:
- kind and thoughtful
- forgiving and patient
- loyal and supportive
- always there for others
Their performances were a wonderful example to us all and a celebration of children living out our school values in a meaningful way.

Moments like these remind us that worship is not just about listening, but about living out our values every day.
A Prayer for Friendship 🙏
We ended our worship with a prayer, inviting everyone to reflect on how they can be a good friend:
Dear Lord,
Thank you for the gift of friendship.
Help us to encourage one another,
to forgive when things go wrong,
and to always be there for our friends.
Help us to build each other up with kindness and love.
Amen.
