Young Leaders Club

Apr

We are delighted to offer a wide variety of clubs at both lunchtimes and after school with hopefully something of interest to everyone. As we begin the summer term we return to offering children in Upper Key Stage Two the chance to take part in the Archbishop of York Young Leaders Award.

Young people have the power to change the world to transform society and to inspire others to do the same. The Young Leaders Award (YLA) is a resourced leadership and character education programme designed to be delivered in primary schools. We are pleased to offer our children the opportunity to take part in this via our Young Leaders club which takes place with Mr Griffiths after school on Fridays.

In their first week they discussed what it means to be a leader as well as looking at the personal, school and community challenges they will undertake as they work towards completing their award.
