Our Year 6 Young Leaders continue to shine brightly as they work on completing their Archbishop of York Young leaders award. This week half the group went to complete part of their community action work by volunteering at the St Peter’s Church market day café. It was lovely to see the familiar faces of Chris and Karin there to welcome us. The children were fantastic at helping in the café, carrying trays, setting up and clearing tables and talking to all the victors to the café.
The second group will visit next month to complete their volunteering.
