PlaySquad Spotlight.
Playtimes & Lunchtimes Are Great – Thanks to Our New PlaySquad Leaders!
We would like to say a big well done and thank you to our new PlaySquad members from Ravens and Eagles who have begun their roles over playtimes and lunchtimes this half term. All the members volunteer to use some of their lunchtime to help with different roles across the main playground and Early Years playground as well as our dedicated lunchtime nurture space, ‘The Nest’. They help run games and activities, look after the younger children as well as care for and organise our playtime equipment.
They have recently helped to choose some further new play equipment which is now on order and will be in use very soon (more on this to follow). They also chatted with the design team from Playscheme this week regarding the design plans for the next phase of our main playground development. We look forward to sharing these designs and our fundraising plans with everyone shortly.
They do a fantastic job and make a big contribution to making playtimes and lunchtimes and enjoyable experience. Thank you to them all.
