Learning Outside

Apr

Herons Class has been making the most of our fantastic new outdoor shelter!

With plenty of seating and the use of a chalk board, this makes a perfect outdoor classroom – especially when the weather is glorious! The children thoroughly enjoyed their Geography lesson somewhere different, and they look forward to another opportunity to do the same again!

Children in Sparrows and Finches have been looking at all the different parts of flowering plants. they looked at each part under a microscope and also used magnifying glasses to help them then draw accurate pictures of flowering plants and label them. They very much enjoyed being able to complete there work outside using our new shelter and benches.
