Climate Education Events

Mar
As part of our Climate Education Week, on Thursday, KS2 had an exciting assembly with Power Down Pete! Pete is extremely passionate about climate education and explained climate change in a fun and engaging way. The children learnt about the small things they could do (at home and at school) to live more sustainably and help take care of the planet.
Owls and Starlings then had a workshop with Pete all about the rainforest. On Friday, Herons will explore climate education from an international perspective with Pete (Japan).  Eagles / Ravens will have the final workshops with Pete focusing on WW2 eco workshops (details to follow tomorrow/next week). Look out for more news on these to follow.
All classes have also learnt about Earth Hour which takes place this Saturday between 8.30pm and 9.30pm. For any families who would like to take part, further details can be found here.
