🦷 Smiles All Round! Dentist Visit Brings Science to Life in EY & KS1

Today, children in Early Years and Key Stage 1 enjoyed a fantastic visit from Mr Anderson, a local dentist and parent, who brought their science learning about teeth to life in a memorable and engaging way.
As part of their work on keeping healthy, children have been learning about different types of teeth, why they matter, and how to take care of them. Mr Anderson shared his expertise by talking about the role of a dentist, the importance of good eating habits, and how brushing well helps keep our teeth strong and healthy. The children were fascinated to hear from a real expert and asked thoughtful questions about everything from wobbly teeth to what happens during a dental check‑up.
This visit was a wonderful example of how we Love, Learn, Shine at St Peter’s  connecting real-life experiences with classroom learning and helping children shine with curiosity and confidence.
A huge thank you to Mr Anderson for generously giving his time and helping enrich our children’s curriculum experience. We truly value the contributions of parents and community members who help broaden children’s understanding of the world.

Our Lower School team shared:
“Having experts come in adds such richness to our curriculum. The children remember these moments they really bring learning to life and help them see how their learning connects to the wider world.”
