🎶 Year 5 Ravens and Eagles Share Their Musical Talents with Owls Class 🎼 

Today, children in Year 5 from Ravens and Eagles brought music to life in a special concert for Owls Class, showcasing their growing musical skills and confidence. The classroom was filled with rhythm and joy as the children performed a selection of songs using Glockenspiels and BoomWhakers – two instruments that have become firm favourites in their music lessons.
From steady beats to melodic harmonies, the Year 5 children demonstrated not only their technical progress but also their enthusiasm and teamwork. Owls Class were a wonderfully attentive audience, clapping along and clearly enjoying the vibrant performance.
Mr Radcliffe, who led the session, shared his thoughts:
“It was such a joy to see the children perform with such pride and energy. They’ve worked hard to develop their musical understanding, and it really shone through. What made it even more special was the way they supported each other and shared their learning with the younger children – a true example of our school vision in action.”
Moments like these reflect our school vision of Love, Learn, Shine where children are encouraged to share their talents, support one another, and grow in confidence. It was a beautiful example of how music can bring joy and connection across year groups.
Well done to all the children who performed and also those who were such an attentive and respectful audience you all truly shone!
