🧦 Odd Socks, Big Message: United Against Bullying 🧦

Nov

💙🌟 Power of Good🌟💙

This week at St Peter’s CE Primary School, we kicked off Anti-Bullying Week 2025 with a splash of colour and creativity for Odd Socks Day. Children across the school proudly wore mismatched socks to make a bold visual statement: we stand together against bullying and differences can be our superpowers.
Odd Socks Day is a fun and inclusive way to celebrate what makes us all unique. It’s a reminder that it’s okay to be different and that we strive for kindness, respect and acceptance to be at the heart of our school community.
Throughout the week, children will be exploring the theme of “The Power of Good” in lessons and collective worship. This year’s theme, chosen by the Anti-Bullying Alliance, encourages children to recognise the positive impact they can have on others. Whether it’s a kind word, a helping hand, or standing up for someone in need, every small act of goodness contributes to a safer, happier school environment.

At St Peter’s, our vision to Love, Learn, Shine is woven into everything we do. Anti-Bullying Week is a powerful opportunity to live out that vision—showing love through kindness, learning how to support one another, and shining as a beacon of hope and courage.

💙 Let’s continue to celebrate our differences and stand united in kindness. 💙
