πŸ–ŒοΈ From History to Creativity: Ravens Explore Prehistoric Art 🎨

Nov

Ravens have been on an exciting artistic adventure, creating stunning pieces inspired by Prehistoric cave paintings.

The children experimented with earthy tones, mixed media, and techniques such as printing and stencilling to recreate the textures and patterns found in ancient art.
This project builds on the knowledge the children previously gained about the Stone Age in their history lessons. They explored how early humans lived, hunted, and communicated, and now they have brought that understanding to life through art. By creating their own cave-inspired designs, the children deepened their appreciation of how art was used thousands of years ago to share stories and record important events.

Mr Jaeger, Ravens’ class teacher, shared:
β€œThe children have really embraced this project. Their creativity and attention to detail have been incredible – it’s wonderful to see them connect with history in such a visual and imaginative way.”

We are pleased to share some examples of their work below.
