🌟 Golden Light Switch Class Award Relaunch 💡
We’re thrilled to announce the relaunch of our Golden Light Switch Class Award – now with a heart-warming twist! Alongside the prestigious eco accolade trophy, the winning class will now each week care for our new cuddly Earth toy, for the week. This adorable companion will serve as a gentle reminder of the importance of caring for our planet.
In the coming weeks, we’ll be inviting children to take part in a naming competition for our Earth toys, using their creative ideas to bring them to life. We can’t wait to see what imaginative names they come up with!
This week’s Golden Light Switch winners are:
Sparrows in EY and KS1
Ravens in KS2
These classes have earned their eco points by making sure:
Doors are closed when rooms are not in use
Lights and devices are switched off when not needed
A huge thank you to Mrs Williams and our dedicated Eco Climate Ambassadors for their ongoing efforts in promoting sustainability across the school. This initiative beautifully reflects our school vision to Love, Learn, Shine – showing love for our planet, learning how to protect it, and shining as eco role models for others.
