πŸ‘·β€β™€οΈπŸ” Inspiring Futures: Careers Talks Light Up Upper Key Stage Two

Mar
Upper Key Stage Two children enjoyed an exciting and inspiring set of Careers Talks today, thanks to a wonderful group of parents and grandparents who generously shared their time, talents and experience.
Children heard from a fascinating range of professionals, including:
  • an architect,
  • an accounts manager at a local charity supporting people with visual impairments,
  • a sales director for an international baby lifestyle brand, and
  • a human resources manager.
Each visitor put such thought and care into their presentations. The children were captivated by the real-life stories, practical examples, and honest insights into the world of work. It was a brilliant opportunity for them to understand the range of roles available across very different industries and to see how people’s passions and skills can shape their career journeys.
Our children listened beautifully and asked thoughtful, considered questions β€” a true reflection of their curiosity and enthusiasm for learning about the wider world.
Linking directly to our school vision of Love, Learn, Shine, the morning encouraged children to dream big, understand the many ways they can contribute to society, and recognise the value of learning as a foundation for their future choices.

A message from Mrs Jaeger, who organised the event:

β€œIt was wonderful to see the children so excited and engaged. Our visitors brought their roles to life in such meaningful ways, and I’m incredibly grateful for the support of our school community in helping inspire the next generation.”
A huge thank you to all who contributedΒ  your involvement helped create a memorable and motivating experience for our children.
