🌟 Confidence and Courage: Our Children Shine in Dodgeball Competition for Year 3 & 4 🏐

What an exciting day for our Year 3 and 4 children!
Mrs Oldfield proudly took 10 enthusiastic children to Harrogate High for a thrilling dodgeball competition. From the very first match, it was clear that our children were ready to show what makes St Peter’s special teamwork, encouragement, and resilience.
Across four competitive matches, the children supported and cheered each other on, living out our school vision of Love, Learn, Shine. Their confidence grew with every throw and dodge, and it was wonderful to see smiles and determination shining through.
We celebrated two fantastic wins and came so close in the other two matches, losing by only a few points – a brilliant achievement! A special mention goes to Charlie M, who received a certificate for encouragement, reflecting the positive spirit that ran through the whole team.

Mrs Oldfield shared her pride in the children, saying:

β€œI was so impressed with how the children encouraged each other and worked as a team. Their confidence grew with every game, and they represented St Peter’s beautifully. I couldn’t be prouder!”

A huge thank you to all the parents who supported the children whether by cheering them on, helping with transport, or simply encouraging them to take part. Your support makes these experiences possible and helps our children to truly shine. Well done to all the children – you were amazing!
