🎸 Get Into Guitar Brings Music Alive at St Peter’s!
This week, our Year 4 children from Starlings and Herons were treated to a fantastic free workshop delivered by Get Into Guitar. The hall was buzzing with excitement as every child had the chance to try both acoustic and electric guitars — a wonderful hands‑on experience that truly sparked joy and curiosity.
Children learnt new guitar skills such as strumming patterns and basic chords, building confidence through play and exploration. A definite highlight was learning to perform “We Will Rock You” by Queen, which had the whole room tapping along in perfect rhythm!
Following the workshops, all of KS2 gathered for an energetic, interactive assembly. The children loved guessing the songs being played and their enthusiastic singing literally raised the roof! It was a celebration of music, confidence and community, perfectly reflecting our school vision to Love, Learn, Shine.
