🌟 A Midwife Crisis Community Spirit and Christmas Joy: Lower School Nativity Success 🌟

This week, our Lower School children lit up the stage with their joyful performances of A Midwife Crisis, a much-loved nativity chosen every year for its fresh, funny and unforgettable retelling of the Christmas story. The play follows a midwife searching for a golden palace fit for a king, journeying through bustling Bethlehem and meeting townspeople, shepherds and kings along the way. With the help of gospel-singing angels and a very bright star, she finally discovers that the most special baby of all is waiting in a humble stable. Audiences were treated to six fantastic songs from lively tunes about Bethlehem’s commotion to joyful melodies sung by angels and shepherds. Our wonderful children sang with such enthusiasm that the whole church was filled with festive cheer.

The Lower School Team said:
“We are so proud of every single child for the way they embraced this nativity. Their confidence, teamwork and joy in performing truly reflect our Love, Learn, Shine vision. It’s wonderful to see children learning through creativity and shining so brightly on stage – moments like these remind us why we love what we do!”

Headteacher Mr Griffiths shared his pride in the children and staff:
“Performances like this truly show our Love, Learn, Shine vision in action. The creativity, teamwork and dedication from everyone involved make these moments unforgettable.”

We also want to say a huge thank you to parents for supporting children so brilliantly helping them learn lines, practise songs and prepare costumes. Your involvement makes all the difference and helps create memories that will last a lifetime. A special thank you to FOSP for keeping everyone well refreshed with delicious food and drinks during the evening performances – your hard work added so much to the festive atmosphere. We are also deeply grateful to St Paul’s Church for welcoming us into their beautiful space. Performing in such a lovely setting made the experience even more magical for our children and families.
