🎭 Year 6 Inspired by St John Fisher’s Addams Family Production

Our Year 6 children enjoyed a truly memorable afternoon at the Harrogate Theatre, where they attended St John Fisher School’s vibrant performance of The Addams Family. This special visit marks the part of their exciting journey towards secondary school, giving them a wonderful opportunity to see first-hand the high standard of productions created by older children in our local community.
Set in the beautiful surroundings of a professional theatre, the experience offered our children a glimpse into the creativity, teamwork and confidence that come with secondary school life. Opportunities like this help them to Love, Learn and Shine, expanding their horizons and inspiring them as they prepare for the next stage of their education.
A huge thank you to Mr Pywell for organising the visit and to FOSP for generously funding the tickets—making it possible for every child to enjoy this fantastic experience.

🎤 What They Said…

Mr Pywell shared:
“It was fantastic to see our Year 6 children so engaged and inspired. The quality of the performance really showed them what they can aspire to as they move on to secondary school.”
Our Year 6 children were just as enthusiastic:
  • “I loved everything about it! The songs and dancing were amazing.”
  • “It made me really excited about going to secondary school—I’d love to be in a show like that one day.”
The children returned to school full of excitement, ideas and big smiles exactly what we hope for when we give them chances to shine beyond the classroom.
