🌟 Prayer Spaces Week: A Lasting Legacy Across Our School

🌈 Prayer Spaces Live On Across St Peter’s

Our Prayer Spaces week may have come to an end, but its impact is still visible throughout St Peter’s. The wonderful displays created during the week continue to shine across school, explaining the reflective process and celebrating the children’s thoughtful prayers and personal reflections.
From colourful prayer flags to beautiful prayer ribbons, the children created meaningful expressions of hope, peace, and gratitude. Although Prayer Spaces is rooted in Christian values, the themes offered all children of all beliefs and backgrounds a chance to connect, think, reflect, and find a moment of calm.

🕯️ A Lasting Impact in Every Classroom

One of the most joyful outcomes has been seeing ideas from the main Prayer Spaces area now echoed in mini prayer spaces within each classroom. These small, child-led reflective spots are already being used as places to pause, think, and show kindness — a perfect example of how our vision to Love, Learn, Shine grows from meaningful experiences.
Across the school you’ll also spot larger freestanding visual reminders, including our new Prayer Box installation, offering children ongoing opportunities to pray, reflect, or simply enjoy a quiet moment.

🙏 Huge Thanks to Our Wonderful Prayer Spaces Team

We are incredibly grateful to the Prayer Spaces team from churches across Harrogate. Your creativity, warmth, and support helped our children feel welcomed, inspired, and confident to explore big ideas in a gentle and thoughtful way. We loved working with you again — and we are already looking forward to next year!
