❤️ Fun-Filled Friday of Fundraising at St Peter’s
Today has been a truly joyful Fun-Fill Friday at St Peter’s CE Primary School as our children came together for two wonderful fundraising events — Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day 2026 and our much-loved Easter Sponsored Bunny Bounce!
❤️ Celebrating Comic Relief
Our children brightened the school with splashes of red hats, socks, accessories, and wonderfully creative touches — all in support of Red Nose Day. Thank you to every family who donated so generously; your kindness helps Comic Relief continue its incredible work supporting communities across the UK and around the world.
We also shared a little about the history of Comic Relief, established in 1985 to use laughter to create lasting change. It was inspiring for our children to learn how acts of kindness big or small can make a huge difference.
🐰 Bunny Bounce Success!
Alongside the red-themed fun, we held our annual Easter Sponsored Bunny Bounce to raise funds for the Friends of St Peter’s (FOSP). The energy on the playground was infectious as children bounced enthusiastically, determined to get as many bounces as possible!
FOSP’s support is invaluable, funding school projects such as:
- Educational trips and visits
- Visitors enriching our in-school experiences
- New playground equipment
- Enhancements that help our children Love, Learn and Shine
We are so grateful for every donation already received, and please know that sponsored money can continue to come in next week.
🌟 A Community to Be Proud Of
Having two fundraising events on the same day could have been a challenge — but instead, it highlighted the generosity, enthusiasm and warmth of our St Peter’s community. Our children showed real compassion and commitment, and our families once again demonstrated incredible support. Thank you to everyone who helped make today such a wonderful success. Together, our school continues to shine brightly.
